A Halo Eye is when you have two darker shades at the edges of your eye with a lighter shade in the center so it makes your eyes look larger.
I used 5 shades in the Morphe 350 palette (it's my ride or die). To be honest, you only need 4 shades but I mixed 2 shades to get the colour I wanted. Now, it is not necessary to use the Morphe 350 palette, you can create this look with any eye shadow. This post is aimed to show the concept of a simple Halo Eye.
Here are 5 simple steps to creating a Halo Eye without much fuss! ;) I got you boo <3
↓↓↓↓↓
1. Start with a Base Shadow
Apply a base shadow (a shadow that matches your skintone) to prime your eyelids .
This is to make the other shadows blend easier.
2. Transition Shade
Apply a transition shade (e.g. light brown) to almost your entire eyelids, leaving little room for the browbone. In terms of actual colour, this will be the lightest shadow among the rest besides the base shadow.
3. Darken the Edges
Apply a darker shade (e.g. dark brown or black) to the inner corner and outer edges of your eye. Leaving the center empty.
* Tip - Use a smaller brush to focus on the shadowing area better.
Optional - If your shadow happens to cover the center of your eyelid, apply concealer to fix it.
4. BLING <3
Apply a glittery shade or a light matte shade to the center of your eye.
5. Repeat
Repeat these steps on the bottom of your eyes.
OR
You can mix it up and do a fun colour like what I did with a shimmery blue from the Morphe 35B palette.
